Elizabeth Mpofu is the leader of La Via Campesina, the largest international organisation for small farmers, the landless, agricultural workers, indigenous peoples, and those who live off what can be grown and harvested in the forest. She is a small organic farm owner in Zimbabwe, and as a leader of the movement has long fought for the right to food and food sovereignty in Zimbabwe, Africa, and the world. Mpofu is one of the participants in the informational film Norwegian Social Forum made about trade agreements and climate policy in 2015.
