People Power Part 1: Waging Conflict without Arms: Why people power works and its relevance for social change across borders

This is the first part of a three day workshop, and open to all.

The open seminar on Friday focuses on how and why people power works and its relevance for social change across borders. There will also be a short presentation on the historical track record of nonviolent movements and campaign and 2-3 activists from around the world will tell their stories about how they have used people power to reach their goals related to the conference theme. The seminar modality will be presentations with Q&A afterwards.
